Primary Sources

What do we use as sources of information in our daily lives? Our own observations? What other people tell us? What we read? What we see on television or hear on the radio? Of course it’s all of the above. When it comes to understanding the past, information in all these forms, and more, are potentially useful. Historians divide these information sources into two basic categories, primary and secondary sources.
