Minutes - Action Issues

- Discussed the following items as issues to bring up within the entire IMLS
/ CHO Project working group;
- Controlled vocabulary – AAT, LCSH, combination?
- How will we access / search images? How will we search and associate
images that have relationships?
- Categories defined in grant – selection team will define categories?

Ethnicity
Infrastructure
Lifestyles
Communities
- What is the date that selection needs to be complete?
- What is the role of the selection committee after selection is complete?
- What formats can we use; prints, negatives, size limits, 11x14 + ?
- Is the 5000 number of images set in stone; can we deviate from that number
at all?
- We need a minimal date type of set up for each image, for selection and
inclusion in the project. Who sets up this minimal data standard?
- What are the catalogers roles?
2) The following items need to be discussed at our next meeting;
- Pick a team leader.
- Review database that can be used for selection process.
- Set up quarterly meetings on our calendar: April 3rd, June
26th and October 2nd.
