1. Category Terms / Definitions

• Team reviewed draft definitions.

• Team agreed to combine two sets of the categories;

• Each institution was assigned (as noted below) two terms to define. All definition changes / edits will be sent to Tara. Tara will circulate final draft.

DEADLINE is by March 22,2000 by email; thurt@lib.uconn.edu.

1. Subject Field / Cataloging Record

• Each institution will, after finalizing definitions, use LCSH, SHIC, AAT, TGM to generate a list of subjects that encompass the eight project category definitions / terms.
• Each sub group will report subjects to Tara.

• Tara will compile subject listing.

1. Size of Images

• If the project progresses with Boston Imaging we know that 11x14 to 38x40 is oversized and oversized images will cost more.
• At the next meeting of the selection committee the group will need to decide if there are oversized items "that we cannot do without." For the time being selectors will stay under the oversize dimensions but a later discussion will address if there are a small amount of oversized images that we feel we need to add to the image total.
