Members Present: J. Blohm, D. Fairfield, N. Finley, T. Hurt,B. Pitttmam and R. York.
Members Absent [unable to attend]: M. Stetts.

The meeting lasted for 1/2 hour and the focus of the meeting was to answer the following issues;

1. Select 100 images from each institution for the pilot project.
Each institution was sure they could have the 100 images to CHS by the shooting date of July 6, 2000.

2. Decision on Subject Headings

• The group decided that the current subject heading list was good but that it needed to be expanded. The group decided that over the next two months, while the catalogers are cataloging the 100 images for the pilot project, that additional headings will be added and the list will be updated after the 100 images have been cataloged.
• The group also decided that the catalogers should have a way to share information between themselves about subject headings. This option will be reviewed and some mechanism will be in place for the catalogers to communicate.
  

3. Decide Cataloging Fields

• The selection group will meet with the technical group (R. Witthus will schedule a meeting) to finalize any concerns over the Dublin Field / Cataloging fields.
• Authority control was discussed so the group will follow up on this when they meet with the technical committee. The ability to have access to OCLC should be arranged for each institution.
