Description	The Newbury Block, East Main Street, Mystic. The Thomas H. Newbury storefront is visible to the left. The word "PLUMBING" is partially visible on the rolled up awning. A woman is looking in the store window and several men can be seen walking or standing on the sidewalk in front.
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. Thomas H. Newbury, father of Edward H., sold plumbing (including ship plumbing), sheet metal and hardware goods and services. The T.H. Newbury store occupied this site for many years. The commercial building in which the store was located was known earlier as the Mallory Block, and later came to be known as the Newbury Block. Taken by Edward H Newbury, a Mystic businessman and amateur photographer. He took over the store and business from his father. Mounted on gray card, round corners.
