Description	Pastoral view of River Road, Mystic (Groton), in what is identified as the Porter's Rocks area. View is looking upriver along a stretch of the unpaved road that curves to the right toward what appears to be a farm or farms along the shore. A wood fence encloses a field in the center background. Several buildings, possibly a house and outbuildings, are visible in the far right background.
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. Printed on card at left: "E.A. SCHOLFIELD, Photo.,/ Mystic River, Ct.". Everett A. Scholfield was a professional photographer who worked primarily in Mystic and New London from 1865-1913. Mystic River was the name for the area of Mystic village on the Groton side of the Mystic River. This area had formerly been known as Portersville. Mounted on card, 4 x 8 1/4 in. Photo and card drymounted to oaktag.
