Description	A woman and a boy sit in rocking chairs on the porch of the Clark Greenman house on Greenmanville Avenue. The boy sits closer to the camera, with the woman behind him. Visible over their heads to the left is a stuffed animal head. An iron fence can be seen along the street in the background. A path leading to an open gate can be seen on the right. View is looking east across Greenmanville Avenue toward fields and a hillside.
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. The area along the Mystic River on the Stonington side north of downtown Mystic was known as Greenmanville. Three of the Greenman brothers, including middle brother Clark, lived and had their shipyard and mill in this area in the nineteenth century. Their houses are on the west side of Greenmanville Avenue, and are now part of Mystic Seaport, with the Clark Greenman house serving as the Administration building. Photograph in album, probably by Everett A. Scholfield, a professional photographer who worked primarily in Mystic and New London from 1865-1913.
