Description	Port view of powerboat Falcon at dock, possibly in Noank. Two men can be seen on board. The number 596598 is visible on the side of the cockpit. Handwritten on back of photo: "'FALCON' /OWNED BY JOHN WHITTAKER/BUILT BY BOB WHITTAKER/STERN FOR STAR/Built 1947".
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. Falcon was built by Robert Whittaker for Ivan and Errol Crossman at the former Eldridge boatyard in Noank. Whittaker had leased the yard after the death of Web Eldridge (1944) and used Eldridge molds in constructing the Falcon. She was launched in the spring of 1946 and powered by a Palmer 2R3, 30 horsepower engine. She had a built-in live well amidships and was used for lobstering and dragging. John Whittaker (son of Robert) purchased Falcon in 1974.
