Description	Franklin G. Post and boat yard "gang" at the Post yard in Mystic. Most of the men are standing. Several kneel or sit on the ground in front of them. Some are wearing overalls. A few are in shirtsleeves and wear vests and ties. Most of the group wear caps or hats. A wood building can be seen behind them with a painted sign that reads in part: "BOATS/BUILT STORED REPA__/MARINE RAILWAYS/MARINE HARDWARE SUPPLIES"
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. Franklin G. Post was a boatbuilder who had shops at two locations in Mystic. From 1914-1923 his business was located in Fort Rachel, south of the site of the old D.O. Richmond yard on the Groton side of the river. From 1923-1959 the shop occupied the site of the former Pendleton Brothers yard at Pistol Point on the Stonington side. When his son Ernest joined the business it became Franklin Post & Son. Possibly taken at the old (Fort Rachel) yard. Approximate date range based on clothing and dating of related image.
