Description	View of the Mystic waterfront taken from a boatyard in the Fort Rachel area. A motor yacht, possibly the Plover, is visible in port bow view in the foreground. "139 J" can be seen on her bow. The boatyard is probably the Franklin G. Post yard in Fort Rachel. The brick powerhouse and part of a trolley car of the Groton and Stonington Street Railway can be seen to the left. Portions of the Mystic River waterfront are partially visible in the background.
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. Franklin G. Post was a boatbuilder who had shops at two locations in Mystic. From 1914-1923 his business was located in Fort Rachel, south of the site of the old D.O. Richmond yard on the Groton side of the river. From 1923-1959 the shop occupied the site of the former Pendleton Brothers yard on the Stonington side. When his son Ernest joined the business it became Franklin Post & Son. The Groton and Stonington Street Railway powerhouse and car barn occupied the former site of the D.O. Richmond yard.
