Description	Rossie Velvet Company, seen from the Mystic River. Part of the Greenmanville section of Mystic is also visible.
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. The mill (built 1898) produced quality velvet and at its height, employed over 200 workers using 150 looms. The smokestack seen in this picture was put up around 1920, replacing an earlier, slimmer one. The Rossie mill building is now part of Mystic Seaport. The area on the right is the present site of the Seaport village and exhibits area. Mounted on gray cardboard mat.
