Blossom
and
made
a
voyage
to the
Indian
Ocean
to
gather
ornithological
specimens
.
Blossom
was
fitted
out
in
New
London
and
sailed
out
of that
port
circa
1923
.

period

conversion
of the
Lucy
R
. to the
Blossom
with
photographs
taken
in
New
London
,
based
on
identification
of
related
images
.
