Description	Starboard bow view of open deck oyster boat Mobjack in harbor. Dredges and conveyor equipment are mounted on deck. Three men can be seen on deck. "MOBJACK" is painted on the vessel's bow. Oil storage tanks are visible in the background.
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. Location is identified as Woodbridge, but that town has no waterfront. Possibly taken in New Haven Harbor. Oystering was an important Connecticut industry in the 19th and 20th centuries. New Haven and South Norwalk were among the centers of local and regional cultivation and harvesting. The peak period was 1885-1910. On back: "PHOTOGRAPHED BY/ELLIOT W. TODD/WOODBRIDGE, - CONN./TEL. FU 7-3020/ OCT 8 1952.
