Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. City Point, formerly Mikado was built in Stratford, 1886. Her home port was New Haven. She was later renamed Carolyn Raye. Isabella was built in Bridgeport, 1905 by Greene Brothers. The collapse of the ways at the launching of the schooner Perry Setzer led to financial difficulties for the Greene Brothers and the eventual demise of the Bridgeport business. The yard was acquired by Simon Lake of Lake Torpedo Boat Company which later built a number of submarines and wooden boats. Oystering was an important Connecticut industry in the 19th and 20th centuries. New Haven and South Norwalk were among the centers of local and regional cultivation and harvesting. The peak period was 1885-1910.
