Description	The Newbury family and relatives watch the Yale-Harvard regatta from the Thames River shore. Some members of the group are identified as: Annie Clift Newbury, Ada (Adah) Ashbey Newbury, George Alfred Perkins, Leland Clift Perkins, Alla Lynne Perkins (Allyn), Katherine N. Clift Perkins and Hannah Morse Clift. Alla and one of the women sit in a hammock slung between a tree and a pole. Most of the rest of the group sit on the ground. A variety of vessels can be seen on the river in the background.
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. Taken by Edward H. Newbury, a Mystic businessman and amateur photographer. Annie Clift Newbury was his wife. Adah Newbury, daughter of Edward H., in later life dropped the "h" for a more fashionable spelling of Ada.
