Description	View of the old wooden drawbridge across the Mystic River, looking east toward East Main Street, Mystic. A number of people, some of them children, stand in front of Washington Hall (the Exchange Block) on the far side of the bridge. A horse and wagon or cart can also be seen. To the right is the Asa Fish grocery and dry goods store. Hoxie House is partially visible behind Washington Hall. The Steamboat Hotel is also partially visible.
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. Taken by Everett A. Scholfield, a professional photographer who worked primarily in Mystic and New London from 1865-1913. The wooden bridge was replaced by an iron drawbridge later in 1866. Washington Hall, also known as the Exchange Block, was built in 1850 and burned in 1885.
