Description	View of a parklike area identified as possibly Walnut Grove Park, Stonington. A pond, island, path, statue and bridge are visible.
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. Walnut Grove was an 85-acre property near Lambert's Cove (north and west of Stonington Borough) owned by James Ingersoll Day. His house, built there in the 1850's, was destroyed after the 1938 hurricane. A recreation area for Navy personnel is now located on the site. Taken by Edward H. Newbury, a Mystic businessman and amateur photographer.
