Description	View of a large hip-roofed dwelling identified as the William Smith house at the corner of Library and Elm Streets, Mystic.The house has dormers visible at the front and to either side, three chimneys and a wing to the right. Porches can be seen on the wing and main section of the house, the latter featuring arches between the squared columns. Men and women are visible on the porch to the left. Two women stand on the porch to the right. A fence runs along the street in front of the house, with an opening for the driveway that curves toward the house. Other houses and what appears to be a carriage house can be seen along the intersecting road to the right. A horse stands behind a picket fence in the foreground.
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. Taken by Everett A. Scholfield, a professional photographer who worked primarily in Mystic and New London from 1865-1913. Slightly stained.
