Description	Spectators stand among parked cars looking out over the Thames River in the Groton-New London area. Numerous yachts and other boats are anchored in the river. A man in a straw hat can be seen in the left foreground.
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. Possibly the Harvard-Yale regatta. Stamped on back "CERTIFIED/ MASTER PHOTO FINISHERS OFAMERICA" and patent date Feb. 24, 1938. Attributed to professional photographer Everett A. Scholfield, who worked primarily in Mystic and New London from 1865-1913. Probably of some relation to the Scholfield family and possibly taken by a family member.
