Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. Identification is from typed caption on back. Mianus Diesel Engine Co., 39 McGee Avenue, Stamford, succeeded the earlier Mianus Motor Works in 1919. Mianus Motor Works manufactured gasoline engines for boats, specializing in fitting auxiliary motors to yachts, but also supplying engines for working boats. The company is listed as located in Stamford from 1911 on. In 1919 it became the Mianus Diesel Engine Co., manufacturing diesel engines for various types of vessels. Although Mianus is identified as the factory location, it may be Stamford, based on information in company catalogs. Mounted on cloth page in album.
