Scotia
. She was
purchased
by the
Cleveland
Museum
of
Natural
History
with
funds
from a
Mrs

Blossom
and
made
a
voyage
to the
Indian
Ocean
to
gather
ornithological
specimens
.
Blossom
was
fitted
out
in
New
London
and
sailed
out
of that
port
circa
1923
. In
schoolbook
writing
pad
converted
to
photo
album
described
as "The
beginning
of the
good
ship/
