Description	Noank water view, apparently looking south toward the mouth of the Mystic River. Morgan Point Lighthouse can be seen in the right background, and further to the right, a four-masted schooner. In the foreground are two sloops with sails lowered but unfurled, seen in starboard view. To the left another sloop, seen in port bow view, is under sail just beyond a row of lobster cars. A number of other boats can be seen moored in the background.
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. The light station at Morgan Point was established in 1831. The granite keeper's dwelling and tower were constructed in 1868 or 1869. The building is now privately owned. Lobster cars are boxes with openings for water circulation moored near shore to hold live lobsters. Pencil notes on back read: "242 Sabbath in Port" and "82%"; ink note on back reads "J.K."
