Description	View of a car parked on what appears to be an intersection of narrow dirt roads or driveways in the Greenmanville area of Mystic. An outbuilding, possibly a garage, can be seen behind the car. A man stands in a field or yard in the left background. The side of a house is visible on the other side of a picket fence in the right background.
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. The area along the Mystic River on the Stonington side north of downtown Mystic was known as Greenmanville. The Greenman brothers lived and had their shipyard and mill (Greenmanville Manufacturing Company, later Mystic Manufacturing Company) in this area in the nineteenth century. There were a number of houses in Greenmanville for mill workers, including employees of Rossie Velvet Mill, which launched operations in 1898. Probably taken by Everett A. Scholfield, a professional photographer who worked primarily in Mystic and New London from 1865-1913.
