Description	View looking south of vessels docked at Steamboat Wharf, Mystic, below the bridge on the Groton side of the Mystic River. To the left is the catboat Nylla of Mystic, seen in starboard stern view. To the right is the Stonington fishing sloop Robbie F. Sylvester, seen in stern view. Just beyond the sloop is the steamer Mystic. She is in the process of loading passengers. Men, women and children can be seen on the dock. In the right background, a Wilcox menhaden steamer and coal schooner can be seen in the water near the Richmond boatyard on Water Street. In the left background, on the Stonington side, George Tripp's gristmill and the Lantern Hill Silex Company grindery house can be seen.
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. Nylla was owned by Louis M. and Gurdon S. Allyn of Mystic. Robbie F. Sylvester of Stonington was a smack built in Stonington, 1887. Her dimensions were 33 x 14 x 5.1 feet. The Mystic, of Westerly, Rhode Island, was built by George S. Greenman (Westerly) for Orlando Smith in 1896. Her dimensions were 85 x 17.8 x 5.5 feet. She ran between Mystic and Watch Hill, Rhode Island (also to Bushy Point, Groton) until being sold to Cuba in 1897. Taken by Edward H. Newbury, a Mystic businessman and amateur photographer.
