Description	A man and two women stand at the northwest corner of a house identified as the Allyn house, Greenmanville Avenue, Mystic. The man, on the left, is identified as Thomas Caperton. An unidentified woman stands next to him. To the right is an older woman identified as Frances Langworthy Darrach Caperton. The woman in the center is holding the arms of the other two.
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. Owned briefly by the Greenman family, and later by the Langworthys, the Langworthy/Allyn house served as a boarding house for mill and shipyard workers during the second half of the nineteenth century. From 1931-1974 it was owned by the Allyn family, who sold it to Mystic Seaport. Frances Langworthy married Hector Darrach. After his death, she married Thomas Caperton. Hector Darrach was a ship and boat builder in Mystic. He worked as a ship carpenter for the George Greenman & Co. and later under subcontract or lease for David O. Richmond, often with other boat/shipbuilders.
