Description	View of what appears to be a single story wood structure on a brick foundation identified as St. Stanislav's [Stanislaw's] Academy, Putnam. What appear to be two wings project at either end of the structure, with gable ends facing the camera. A third gable can be seen in the roof at center. A cupola surmounted by a short conical spire can be seen at the peak of the roof behind. A porch runs the length of the building between the wings. Groups of children are visible on either side of the yard in front, apparently separated by a garden and or fences. Nuns stand among the girls who form the group at right. Nuns also stand among the group of children at left, who may be young boys.
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. Name of school is identified as St. Stanislaw's Academy in related images. Taken by Everett A. Scholfield, a professional photographer who worked primarily in Mystic and New London from 1865-1913.
