Description	View of a counter area inside Mystic Pharmacy, East Main Street, Mystic. The marble counter has what appears to be a cylindrical metal soda dispenser on the left. A sign at the top of this object reads: "HOT SODA". Halfway down is what appears to be a shelf on which cups are arranged. Along the wall behind the counter are rows of shelves on which bottles are displayed. On the top shelf to the left is a bust of a man with a beard. To the right is the bust of a woman. Below the shelves are rows of drawers. Visible on a post behind the soda machine and to the right is a sign that reads: "SODA/SYRUPS//LEMON/GINGER/VANILLA, SARSAPARILLA/BIRCH BEER, GINGER ALE/ROOT BEER/RASPBERRY/NECTAR/STRAWBERRY/PINEAPPLE/CHOCOLATE/COFFEE/CREAM/ROMAN PUNCH/WILD CHERRY/BLACKBERRY/ORANGE/BANANA/COCA COLA/LIME JUICE/GRAPE". A sign on a shelf to the right reads: "HOT COFFEE CREAM". On the counter to the right is a large marble box or cabinet. "R [?].M. Green Co/PHILA" can be seen on the side facing the front of the counter. A wood stool is visible below and to the right.
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. Mystic Pharmacy was at one time owned by a member or members of the Gaskell family. Probably taken by the Gaskell who owned Mystic Pharmacy. For many years the T.H. Newbury business and store also occupied this building, which had earlier been known as the Mallory Block.
