Description	A group of men, most wearing hats and overcoats, some wearing military uniforms and hats, stand on steps in front of a doorway of a brick building. One man leans on a cane. Signs on either side of the doorway read: "HAMILTON / STANDARD / PROPELLERS". Two electric light fixtures are on either side of the doorway. Front row at far left: William H. Mortensen, fifth from left: Lord Halifax. Back row second from left: General Dwight D. Eisenhower.<br>
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger.<br>The photograph was taken on March 15, 1944.<br>The British foreign secretary, Edward Frederick Lindley Wood, Lord Halifax, visited the Hartford area and toured Pratt & Whitney Aircraft and Hamilton Standard. A luncheon was given at The Hartford Club.<br>The Hamilton Standard Propellers Division of the United Aircraft Corporation was located at 366 Main Street, East Hartford.<br>
