Palmer
&
Sons
.
Narwhal
was
designed
by
Gustav
Hillman
and
owned
by
Norwich
businessman
Charles
Osgood
. She was
later
renamed
the
Nerita
.
Narwhal
was
137
gross
tons
.
Boat
dimensions

shipbuilding

repair
facility
, in
operation
from the
mid-19th
century
until
1914
, was
one
of the
most
prominent
on the
east
coast

was
