Description	View of the Scholfield house on Clift Street, with two women, and girls and boys of various ages visible on the lawn and steps of the house. From the left: Mrs. Everett A. Scholfield (Leonora Ashbey Scholfield), with son Everett in carriage. Standing on the left is May (Mary) Scholfield. Girl standing forward on the right is Grace. Alice (left) and Alma (right) are on the steps. Carl is standing to the right and Edwin is sitting on the embankment in front. The house is wood with a variety of siding treatments including clapboard and shingles, and stick ornamentation. Two bay windows and two gables are visible. A tower can be seen on the right over the porch and doorway.
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. Attributed to Everett A. Scholfield, a professional photographer who worked primarily in Mystic and New London from 1865-1913. Albumen print (1976.166.623) that appears to have been made from this negative has "Scholfield & Tingley" printed below. Scholfield and George E. Tingley were in partnership 1886-1894. Date and identifications based on family information and chronology. Six of the children are the sons and daughters of Everett A. and Leonora Ashbey Scholfield. Alice is probably Everett Scholfield's step-sister. The Scholfield house was built in 1885.
