Description	View of a two-story brick structure with a stone foundation identified as the Mystic and Noank Library, Library Street, Mystic. A portico can be seen to the left. A cupola and weather vane are visible at the roofline. Greenhouses can be seen in the background.
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. The Mystic & Noank Library was dedicated in 1894. It was a philanthropic project undertaken by Captain Elihu Spicer, business partner of Charles H. Mallory in the Texas (steamship) line. The library is on the corner of Library and Elm Streets, near West Main Street. Taken by Everett A. Scholfield, a professional photographer who worked primarily in Mystic and New London from 1865-1913.
