Description	A group of nine people identified as the Everett A. Scholfield family is sitting and standing around a table. Two boys and a girl or young woman sit on the left. A woman sits at the table in the center. Two girls stand behind her and a boy stands to the right, apparently looking at a book being read by Everett A. Scholfield. Another girl in a plaid dress sits on what appears to be a piano bench to the right. A gas lamp hangs over the table. The walls are decorated with a variety of framed pictures and what appear to be a calendar and card. The table is covered with a fringed tablecloth. Books, papers, and a bowl of fruit can be seen on the table. A window shade is pulled halfway down over the window at left.
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. Probably taken by Everett A. Scholfield, a professional photographer who worked primarily in Mystic and New London from 1865-1913. The family group probably includes Scholfield's wife Leonora Ashbey Scholfield and their six children. Sons, in order of age, are: Carl, Edwin and Everett. Daughters are: Mary (May), Grace and Alma. The fourth girl may be Scholfield's step-sister Alice. The Scholfield family lived on Clift Street, Mystic. Mounted on card with gold edge, 5 3/16 x 8 3/8 in.
