Description	Pastoral view looking out over fields toward a point on what appears to be a river, identified as possibly the Goat Point area of West Mystic. The field in the foreground is bordered by stone walls. Beyond a fence in the middle distance is an open area through which what may be a road or track winds. What appear to be railroad tracks, or a road or track bordered by utility poles run along the shore and across the point. On the other side of the tracks or road, houses can be seen on the point. Another shoreline is visible beyond the river.
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. Identified as probably taken by Edwin Scholfield. Edwin was the name of both the father (1819-1910) and son (1887-1968) of professional photographer Everett A. Scholfield (1843-1930), who worked primarily in Mystic and New London from 1865-1913. The elder Edwin, Edwin A., was also a professional photographer.
