Description	Several men are standing on what appears to be a dock in front of a building with metal siding. One man is reaching for a tote that probably contains fish being offloaded from a boat. A mooring rope looped around a piling can be seen in the lower foreground. In the right foreground, what appears to be a hand is blurred by motion.
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. Dated October 1993. Based in Stonington Borough, the Stonington fleet is the only remaining commercial fishing fleet in Connecticut. Fishing has been a mainstay of the community's economy since the eighteenth century. In earlier years, whaling, sealing and cod fishing supported area residents. The present fishing fleet pursues a diversified approach not dependent on a single type of catch. Dated October 1993.
