Description	A man sits at a desk in a room identified as a doctor's office. He is looking at a book. Other books and bottles can be seen on the desk. A lamp fixture, possibly kerosene, hangs over the desk. Visible on the fireplace mantle behind the desk is what appears to be a leather bag, books, and a small cabinet containing bottles. Along the same wall to the right of the fireplace is a secretary-style desk. The glass-fronted bookcase section contains bottles and what appear to be journals. Book cases on either side of a doorway in the adjoining wall on the right have bound volumes. Another room, possibly an examining room, is visible beyond the open doorway. Between the desk and doorway is a cabinet with two drawers in the bottom section and glass sides above.
