Description	Four people are on the porch of a clapboard house with gabled roof in Mystic. The house, identified as the home of Carl O. Wederkinch, has louvered shutters on windows and door, and an ell extending to the left. The shutters on the second story are shut. Two chimneys are visible. A woman or girl stands on the left side of the porch, leaning against one of the pillars. To the right, a child stands next to a woman sitting in a chair. A man wearing a bowler hat and striped trousers stands next to her in front of the front door. Another man sits on the steps of the house; he wears a flat-brimmed hat that partially obscures his face. The house has a circular driveway in the center of which sits a statue. Appearing to enter the drive from the left is a buggy in which a man and woman are seated. A stone wall is visible behind them, and beyond, what appear to be a barn and house.
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. Poor condition. Attributed to Everett A. Scholfield, a professional photographer who worked primarily in Mystic and New London from 1865-1913. Scholfield and J.D. Wederkinch engaged in a failed mining business venture in Honduras in 1881.
