Description	View of Norwalk borough from across the Norwalk River. Two sailing vessels are at the left and a small skiff is in the center of the composition. Houses and industrial buildings line the waterfront. On the far right is Grumman's Hill. To the left of the hill is the old town house (demolished in 1835) and the Congregational and Episcopal Churches. Two men appear in the left foreground, the man seated sketching in probably a self-portrait.<br>
