Description	Interior of First United Methodist Church, Mystic, decorated for the 1876 United States Centennial. The area around the pulpit and communion table is decorated with American flags, as is the organ behind. Flags and pennants hang from the ceiling. Visible over the doorway at left is the date "1_76", and over the doorway at right, "1876". The wooden pews curve around toward the walls from the center aisle.
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. Taken by Everett A. Scholfield, a professional photographer who worked primarily in Mystic and New London from 1865-1913. Probably on Willow Street, Mystic.
