Description	Young woman wearing a white dress with a bustle and train and long white gloves stands near a window. An elderly woman wearing a dress trimmed with lace and a lace cap sits reading at the right. Some furniture is upholstered with floral print fabric. Antimacassars are on the arms of some chairs. A rug and a crocheted bag or hassock are on the floor. A framed print and two framed oil paintings hang from wires. Several large lamps with glass globes appear to be gaslights. Flowers are in vases on a small round table at the left and a large table or desk at the far right. Inscribed on back: "For Arthur." "Emily & Mother." "Mrs. Charles E.
