Description	Stern view of the motor yacht Althea at dock, apparently on the east (Stonington) side of the Mystic River. Five girls or young women sit facing the camera. They wear sailor-style blouses. A number of other people can be seen behind them on board the vessel. A man in a cap is on the dock holding a rope attached to the Althea. Lettering partially visible on the boat's stern reads: "__RD'S ALTHEA POINT/__TON, CT." A small boat lies in the water just astern of the Althea. The brick Groton & Stonington Street Railway powerhouse on the Groton side of the river can be seen in the right background.
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. Approximate date based on Althea having sailed in New London waters circa 1900. Photograph attributed to W. L. Warner, possibly Winthrop L. Warner, a naval architect specializing in wooden boats who was active in Connecticut from 1929 until his retirement to Vero Beach, Florida.
