Description	Rural scene of what appear to be a farmhouse and outbuildings, possibly in the Putnam area. The house to the left has a porch, elaborate shingling and what appears to be stick-style ornamentation at the gable end. To the right, a pitch-roofed building with a portico has the appearance of a chapel or other religious structure. The roof is surmounted by crosses at front and back. The building has narrow arched windows visible along the wall to the right and on either side of the portico, above which a round window can be seen. Wooden fences can be seen in front of and alongside the complex of buildings.
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. Probably photographed by Everett A. Scholfield, a professional photographer who worked primarily in Mystic and New London from 1865-1913. Approximate date based on Scholfield having worked or handled commissions in Putnam in this period.
