Description	Starboard bow view of a "Seagoin" boat moored at the Franklin G. Post & Son yard, Pistol Point. Lettering on the bow reads "6-C-725". View is looking across the water toward houses on what appears to be the Groton side of the Mystic River. A number of small boats can be seen in the slip area and moored off the opposite shore.
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. Franklin G. Post was a boatbuilder who had shops at two locations in Mystic. From 1914-1923 his business was located in Fort Rachel, south of the site of the old D.O. Richmond yard on the Groton side of the river. From 1923-1959 the shop occupied the site of the former Pendleton Brothers yard on the Stonington side. When his son Ernest joined the business it became Franklin Post & Son. "Seagoin" was a model of boat produced by the company.
