Description	View of a structure identified as the Progress Pavilion, erected July 18, 1960, at the corner of Church and Chapel Streets, New Haven. Trinity Episcopal Church and New Haven Green can be seen on the other side of Chapel Street. A bus appears to be standing next to the curb near the intersection. A sign reading "for me it's CSB/__Connecticut Savings Bank" is partially visible on the side of the bus. Men and women can be seen on the Chapel Street sidewalks and in the Green area. Buses and cars are visible on the street to the left.
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. One of a collection of photographs taken by the New Haven Redevelopment Agency to document a massive urban planning and development project undertaken from 1956 through the mid-1970s. The federally-financed redevelopment initiative was realized through a series of projects focused on particular New Haven city neighborhoods identified by street or area names. These projects involved the demolition of old structures and construction of new buildings, roadways and other facilities.
