Description	Port view of the fishing sloop M.V.I. near a shore, possibly at Quiambaug or Lord's Point, Stonington. Nine people identified as possibly Wilcox family members can be seen on board. A man in the sloop holds a shark spear. A boy is possibly operating a winch for nets or lobster pots. Two skiffs can be seen astern. A man in one of the skiffs is operating a "hurdy-gurdy" winch.
Notes	Title supplied by cataloger. The fishing/lobstering sloop M.V.I. was built in 1888, probably in Noank. "M.V.I." stood for Mystic Valley Institute. Mystic Valley Institute was a coeducational boarding school established in 1868.
