schooner

steamer
Summer
Girl

operated
between
New
London
and
Bushy
Point
,
Groton
.
Buddington
was the
last
active
New
London
whaling
master
and
commanded
the
schooner
Margarett
in what
is
believed
to be the
last
whaling
voyage
out
of
New
London
in
1908
.
