Description	Bird's-eye view of a large town on the Branford River. Smoke issues from the many smokestacks of the Malleable Iron Fittings Company on the far bank of the river, just below a bridge. The tracks of the New York, New Haven & Hartford Railroad run nearby. Immediately beyond the tracks are the railroad station and S.W. Osborn Coal, Lumber and Grain Elevator. At the far left are the lumber and coal wharf and yards of F. Jourdan & Sons, with sailing vessels at the docks. Other buildings shown in vignettes include Hoadley & Hutchinson's Block, Prann & Stannard's Stores, Charles H. Wilford's Building, Gustave A.R. Hamre's Store, T.J. McCartly's Hillside Avenue CafÃ©, F.S. Prann's Residence and Bakery, Braun's Bakery, and M.P. Rice's Stables. Two large cemeteries are visible on the outskirts of the city.
