Description	Bird's-eye view of two large industrial cities on the banks of the Naugatuck River. Ansonia is in the foreground and Derby is in the background, on the far side of the river. Seymour is at the upper right. Several bridges, including an iron railroad bridge, cross the river. A canal and two reservoirs are clearly visible. Factories include the American Brass Company, Farrel Foundry and Machine Co., The Ansonia O. & C. Company (manufacturers of elastic webbing, shoe, and corset laces), the H.C. Cook Co. (manufacturers of metal novelties), the Ansonia Flour and Grain Co., R.J. Hall (contractor and builder), and the S.O. & C. Company (manufacturers of eyelets and eyelet machinery). An athletic field, Fountain Lake, the town of Shelton, and the Housatonic River are in the distance.
