Description	Indistinct figures of men stand in the interior of a vast hall. Stone staircases with elaborate balustrades lead to a mezzanine and upper stories. Round arches are supported on paired Corinthian columns. The ceiling behind appears to be vaulted. Doorways and large arched windows are in the background.
Notes	Louis Orr was born in Hartford in 1879. A scholarship from the Hartford Art Society (later the Hartford Art School) enabled him to go to Paris in 1906 to study art. He died in Paris in 1961. The Connecticut State Library and Supreme Court building was completed in 1910 to designs by architects Donn Barber and Edward T. Hapgood.
