Description	Travelers Tower is at the left of the Hartford skyline and the buildings of the Main Street department stores are at the right. The dome of the Old State House is just visible father to the left of center. A high concrete wall lies the riverfront. The tops of market buildings or warehouses are just visible above it. Signs and billboards read "Chase Basch & Co. Fruit & Produce" "United Fruit and Produce Co." "Connecticut Celery Co." "The Garden House" "Give and / Feel Better" "Seagram's / Seven Crown" "De Soto" "What'll You Have?" "Admiral / TV and Radio." The bases of the abutments of the Bulkeley Bridge are visible at the far tight.
Notes	The concrete wall was built for flood control following the severe floods of 1936 and 1938. Title supplied by cataloger.
