Description	A man wearing a cap and a young girl stand in front of a large two-story house with an elaborate sawn cornice. A tobacco barn is in the left background and a wagon drawn by two horses is in front of it. A birdhouse, probably a martin house, is on a tall pole behind the man and girl.<br>
Notes	Thomas Nangle was born in Ireland in 1837. He emigrated to Boston, then moved to Hartford, and ultimately to Ellington, where he died in 1904. The farm remained in the Nangle family until the 1940s. <br>Some photographs in this collection bear the imprint of the Northern Survey Company. <br>Title supplied by cataloger. <br>
